Roller blinds are the most common type of blind and account for a large proportion of all blinds abroad. There are two main types of roller blinds: standard roller blinds with chains, and cordless roller blinds. The latter, also known as spring-loaded roller blinds or spring-tensioned roller blinds, allow you to operate them and have them lifted by holding the bottom rail of the blind and pulling on it to release the blind mechanism.

The first to appear was the built-in coil spring mechanism, which is still used by curtain manufacturers to this day. Containing a coil spring within its hollow top tube, this spring works through a tensioned clutch mechanism which locks the fabric into place when engaged and you can release the blinds to the desired level by gently pulling on them to lift them. The large size of this type of spring mechanism can easily lead to wasted resources and a tendency to tilt; it is unstable --- the force is not controllable and needs to be adjusted at regular intervals; and the size and weight of the blind is limited --- it can neither be made small nor large.
The external spring mechanism, i.e. the spring mechanism is mounted on the outside of the aluminium tube of the blinds, so that the design of the appearance is restricted; if mounted internally, a light seam will appear. If installed side by side, there is a double gap, which affects both the blackout effect and the aesthetics; the range of curtains that can be applied is small.
